Two talented Greensleeves students recently had the very special opportunity of playing with the WCU Cello Ensemble, thanks the arrangements of their teacher Lily! Patrick and Annie performed alongside Lily and other WCU faculty, students (and Greensleeves teachers!) as part of the Chamber Orchestra & Tom Smith Benefit Concerts. These annual concerts benefit a cello scholarship organized by Dr. Ovidiu Marinescu and the cello ensemble. The late Tom Smith was a cellist who loaned musical instruments to many students at West Chester University.
You wouldn’t know by watching their performances that both Patrick and Annie are in middle school. Their collegiate-level debut was a huge success!
