Arthur and Angela are children in a small village who adore their Rose Garden, but what happens when the angry Sprites release a broken mirror into the land? The mirror that causes all good things to look mean and ugly, while nasty things take on an interesting appearance? And The Snow Queen appears, stealing Arthur away…
Plenty of lessons abound in this musical for children ages 4 and up.
Cosmic Classics: Immaculata Symphony Youth Concert
February 10, 3 - 4:30 pm at Immaculata University
Audiences of all ages will enjoy this symphonic journey through space and time. The concert opens with the familiar Strauss fanfare made famous by the film 2001: A Space Odyssey. Then learn how composers throughout time wrote music inspired by space and a galaxy far, far away. After the performance, students are invited to meet the musicians and to see and hear the instruments up close.

Children take part in music and movement activities to have fun, be creative, dance around and burn off some energy. When children participate in music and movement activities in a group, they also develop and refine their social skills. Care of the WCASD Preschool Parents Group.
Shrek the Musical

The Ellis Theater Guild presents Shrek The Musical! You don't want to miss this Broadway Hit presented in a new interactive environment . With memorable characters, brand new costume designs, catchy songs and spectacle galore; Shrek the Musical promises to be a theatrical event that you won’t soon forget! Tickets are free, but reservations are highly suggested.

Everyone loves redheaded Orphan Annie and her dog Sandy, who find love and a home in one of the best family musicals ever written. Fundraiser show to support the historic Theatre.
WC Studio 2nd Annual Children’s Gala
March 16, 1 pm - 4 pm at Uptown! Knauer Performing Arts Center
Fun for the whole family!
The WC Studio Children’s Gala will include performances by the Professional Youth Program, Uptown Singers, West Chester Studio Singers, Broadway Kids Cabaret and Broadway Kiddos. In addition, guests are invited to enjoy a reception and silent auction while their children attend theatre games hosted by our professional theatre staff. This non-profit organization works to bring performing arts to the area youth. Their goal is to raise funds to enhance the children’s performance program while helping keep the tuition affordable for its families.
WCU Live! presents Missoula Children's Theatre: The Pied Piper
March 16, 2 - 3:30 & 5 - 6:30 at Emilie K. Asplundh Concert Hall, West Chester University
Returning to West Chester for the 12th year, the country’s preeminent professional children’s theatre company, the Missoula Children’s Theatre, returns to WCU and will once again recruit more than fifty local children to stage an original musical adaptation of 'The Pied Piper'.
Family Concert and Instrument Zoo: The Places You’ll Go, by the Kennett Symphony
March 24, 2 pm at Rustin High School
Music transports us. Get on board as the Kennett Symphony along with our intrepid captain take you on a musical adventure. Your job is to listen to the musical clues of each piece to find out where we have traveled to. Fun for the whole family, complete with the instrument zoo where children can try out the instruments of the orchestra.

March 29, 9 - 10:30 am at Fugett Middle School
Join this special preschool group performance of Willy Wonka, Jr.. The cast is led by a talented group of performers at Fugett Middle School under the direction of Matt Hill. Care of the WCASD Preschool Parents Group.
